It gives 6 major branches-
1st part give one branch
1)superior thoracic artery
2nd part gives 2 branches
1)acromiothoracic/thoracoacromial A
2)lateral thoracic artery
3rd part gives 3branches
1)anterior circumflex humeral
2)posterior circumflex humeral
3)subscapular artery.
